Generations After Speaker Training for Children and Grandchildren of Holocaust Survivors
Session 1: Sunday, Sept. 7 - 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Session 2: Sunday, Sept. 14 - 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

$20/session; continental breakfast provided
Generations After will be forming a Speakers Bureau comprised of children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors. Trained speakers will be dispatched to schools, universities, civic organizations, religious congregations, and other venues as requests for speakers are received. Participation in both Speaker Training sessions is required to become a member of the GA Speakers Bureau.
Session 1 will cover the fundamentals of public speaking - best practices for preparing and delivering presentations to a variety of audiences. Session 2 will include information, best practices and resources for telling one's own story (as the child or grandchild of Holocaust survivors), the general story of being descendants of survivors, and telling the stories of our parents and grandparents.
